St. Columba’s School First Communions

There will be no meeting in the school this Monday the 5^th of May. The date for First Communions will be Sunday the 22^nd of June in St. Mary’s at 11.15am.

 

Hymn Book Amnesty

Anyone who has a red hymn book in their house could they please return them to the church as we are running short.

 

Chrissie MacCeachan Funeral Arrangements St. John’s Caol

We announce the death of Chrissie MacEachen, formerly a parishioner of St John’s, Caol, and latterly resident in a nursing home in Fife. Who died recently. R.I.P. There will be a mass on Wednesday the 7^th of May at 10.30am, before Chrissie’s remains go to Uist.

 

Liturgy Works Conforti

We have the Good News that Liturgy Works is hoping to start up again I have taken the bold step of booking Conforti for weekend of the 19^th and 21^st of September. The price is £180 full board for the weekend, I do realise that this is more expensive, but it is five years since we met, and prices have gone up substantially, deposits of £50 should be deposited to the bank account, Mrs. D. Maclean, sort code 874362, account number, 72783760.

Teas and Coffees Parish House

There will be teas and coffees in the parish house this Sunday the 4^th of May, all welcome.

 

Daffodil Teas St. Columba’s School

There will be a daffodil tea in St. Columba’s school this Friday the 9^th of May at 10am. All are most welcome.

We will have May Devotions during the month of May starting next Wednesday at 6pm in St. Mary’s all welcome.

New Sound System in St. Mary’s

A new sound system has been installed this week in St. Mary’s. I would personally like to thank John Haggerty for his generosity and kindness, in the interim period.
