Morning Mass St. John’s Caol

As there is no morning mass in Caol for the next two months. Anyone wishing to attend mass in St. Mary’s who is having difficulty with transport, please contact, Deacon Thomas.

Confirmations

Next Sunday we will have five of our children being Confirmed at the 11.15am mass in St. Mary’s, please keep the children in your prayers at this time. There will be teas, coffees, and cake after mass. All are welcome. Please come in if you can to help.

Angus Cameron R.I.P.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angus, to Louisa, and her family and friends we offer our love and prayers at this sad time for them. Angus’ Funeral Service will be held on Thursday the 13th of June at 11.30 am in St. Mary’s, Fort William, all are most welcome.

Led by the Spirit Phase 3

Please take away with you Bishop Brian’s Pastoral Letter concerning Led by the Spirit Phase 3. The bishop reflects on our call to holiness and our mission of proclaiming Christ. In our much-changed environment what steps are needed to faithfully fulfil our mission? Discernment calls for boldness, honesty and respectful listening but especially for an openness to the Spirit’s promptings. Everyone is encouraged to participate. The method for the parish gatherings will be the Conversation in the Spirit. Standing Orders

Many thanks to those who have taken out standing orders, this has made a huge difference to the parishes, particularly in saving us hundreds of pounds in Gift Aid envelopes. In the next week weeks, we will be asking parishioners in St. John’s Caol if they would be good enough to go to standing orders. Thank you for your continued help and support in this matter. Fr.
