Led by the Spirit
The Collation of Phase 2 Consultation will be published next weekend.
Phase 3 will begin during June. Phase 3 will discern ‘How can we fulfil our mission with the reality of our situation today?’ With the sudden reduction in the amount of clergy our discernment is even more crucial – how is God guiding us through this present situation? I expect all parishes to participate in this third stage. If you would like any help, please let me know.
Led by the Spirit
The collation of the reports submitted from across the diocese for Phase 2 of Led by the Spirit is now available at ledbythespirit.rcdai.co.uk Phase 2’s Consultation was focussed on the resources we presently have as a diocese. This will help us discern how to best live out our mission, the focus of Phase 3.
Gardening Day
We are proposing to have a gardening day on Saturday June the 1st from 10am till 1pm at St. Mary’s. This is to help and assist the great work that Anthony and Bernie do, please come along, and give this your support.
Trinity Sunday
The Liturgy is where we celebrate the presence of God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; not where we try to understand it! The final words of Matthew’s gospel are of Jesus’ final meeting in this gospel with his disciples. He commissions them to go out and make disciples of all nations baptising in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. With his final comforting words. “Know that I am with you always: yes, to the end of time”.
Teas and Coffees St. John’s Caol
A huge thank you to all who work so hard to provide teas and coffees after mass every week. It is important that we not only pray together but socialise together as well.
Teas and Coffees St. Mary’s Fort William
Next Sunday the 2nd of June we will have teas and coffees in the house. Please come along and support us coming together as a community.
