·         Monday: No Mass

·         Tuesday: Mass in St. Mary’s 10.15am

Wednesday: Mass in St. Mary’s, 10.15am

·         Thursday: No Mass

·         Friday: No Mass   

·         Saturday: Vigil in St. Mary’s 6pm

Children’s Liturgy

Our children’s liturgy has restarted again today Sunday the 12th of January. Many thanks to all who give of their time.

Jubilee Year 2025

Pope Francis inaugurated the Jubilee year on Christmas Eve with the opening of the Holy Door in Rome. Inviting all of us to be pilgrims of hope. There will be certain events going on throughout the diocese throughout the year. Please support them if you can.

Justice and Peace

Last Sunday there was a collection at all masses for the work of Justice and Peace.

The total was £424.43. Thank you for your generosity.

St. Columba’s School First Communions

St. Columba’s RC Primary School and Father David would like to invite those who are of Primary Four and above who have not made their First Communion to attend preparation classes after school one afternoon a week. The times and dates have still to be confirmed when we know the numbers. Please contact the Head Teacher at St. Columba’s school to register your interest. Thank you to those who have registered interest. We have decided that we will not start the lessons till Miss Burns comes back at the end of January.

Fr. David Holidays

I will be away from the parish from Tuesday the 14th of January, till Friday the 24th of January. I am thankful to Fr. Charles who will look after St. Mary’s masses at the weekend and will say two daily masses in St. Mary’s on the 14th and 15th of January, and the 21st and 22nd of January at 10.15am in St. Mary’s. Please contact Fr. Charles in case of any emergencies.

Led by the Spirit Collated Report and Bishop’s Response
