Teas and Coffees

This Sunday we will have teas and coffees after 11.15am mass, all are most welcome.

Ash Wednesday and Lent

This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday and begins the season of Lent, this is a wonderful season in the church of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Please get involved in the various activities that will be on in the parish this Lent.

World Day of Prayer

The World Day of Prayer will take place on Friday the 7th of March at 2pm in Kilmonivaig church.

The time has yet to be confirmed.

St. Columba’s School First Communions

A huge thankyou to all who have signed up for the sacraments this year we have a very healthy number. The classes will be on the following dates at 3.30pm in St. Columba’s Monday March the 3rd with first reconciliation being on Sunday the 16th of March. The date for First Communions will be Sunday the 22nd of June in St. Mary’s at 11.15am.

Mass of Hope, St. John’s Caol

There will be a Deanery mass for The Year of Hope on Thursday the 20th of March 2025 at 6pm in St. John’s Caol. Please put this date in your diaries. Bishop Brian will be among us to say the mass. There will be teas and coffees afterwards.

S.C.I.A.F.

Please pick up your Lenten S.C.I.A.F pack from the back of the church for Lent.

Diocesan Pilgrimage for The Year of Hope

There will be Diocesan Pilgrimage for The Year of Hope from the 22nd to the 26th of September to Rome. Five days, four nights in a 3-to-4-star hotel Half Board, price£1,200 per person. This will be led by Bishop Brian. If you wish to book a trip you must e-mail Fr. Stan to book a place on  Morar@rcdai.org.uk.

Cinema Trip

It is proposed that we will have a trip on Monday the 17th of March at time yet to be confirmed to Highland Cinema to see, “Conclave”. Pleased put that date in your diaries.

Ignatian talks

There is a Lenten retreat book entitled “Fruits if the spirit” for the Jubilee year. It is proposed that we will meet every Wednesday in Lent to discuss, what we have read.
