Masses for next week
Monday and Saturday morning there will be no masses. Tuesday and Thursday there will be mass in St. John’s Caol at 10am, Wednesday and Friday there will be mass at 10.15am in St. Mary’s. Weekend Masses as follows. The Vigil St. Mary’s, 6pm, Sunday morning, St. John’s 10am, St. Mary’s 11.15am, and Glenfinnan, 1.30pm, the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month
Streaming of masses
For those still unable to attend mass, we will continue to stream mass on “Friends of St. Mary’s” Facebook site. Masses will only be streamed on a Sunday at 11.15am. There will no longer be daily masses streamed.

Confessions
There will be confessions in St. Mary’s every Saturday evening before the Vigil Mass from 5.15pm to 5.45 pm. And on request at any other time.
New Organ for St. Mary’s
It is wonderful to see the new organ at last in place and fully working. Thanks to all who made it such a great success.
Painting in the parishes
Painting has been done recently on the door and dormers of St. John’s Chapel House. There is still quite a lot on painting needing done around the parishes but especially in St. Mary’s house to welcome our refugees from the Ukraine, anyone who has some spare time, can you please let myself or Deacon Thomas know. Fr. David. I thank those who helped last week with the painting it has made a huge difference.
Official Prayer for the World Meeting of Families
At the back of the church are prayer cards for the World Meeting of Families. Please help yourself to one and pray for the success of the meeting.
Parish Pastoral Council
It is proposed that we start a Parish Pastoral Council which will be one council for the three parishes. Anyone wishing to assist on this council, please speak to Deacon Thomas, or Fr. David.
Bishop Brian, Pastoral Visit
We welcome Bishop Brian to the parishes of Lochaber this weekend. And thank him for all he does for us and the diocese.
Church Cleaning
Church cleaning will be on Thursday the 4th of August after mass in St. John’s, and Friday the 5th of August after mass in St. Mary’s. Please come along and help if you can.
Pilgrimage to Carfin for the relics of St. Bernadette
It is proposed that we will have a day of pilgrimage to Carfin in the diocese of Motherwell. To venerate the relics of St. Bernadette, and to also have a tour of the grotto, and some lunch. The proposed date for this is the Friday the 30th of September leaving around 7.30am.
St. Columba’s School, Caol
We are delighted that we have a new head teacher for St. Columba’s for the beginning of next term. Her name is Miss Burns, and we wish her every success in her new role.
Fr. David Holiday’s
Fr. David will be away from the parishes, from Monday the 1st of August to Monday the 15th of August. We leave you in the very capable hands of Fr. Gerry. Please give him a warm Highland welcome.
