First Communions 2026

Huge congratulations to our eight children who made there first communion today.

May this joyful day live long in your hearts.

Teas and Coffees

Unfortunately, there will be no teas and coffees this week because of the first communions.

The children and their families are invited to the house for juice and cake.

Information Sheets for all parishioners

“Thank you to all who have submitted their contact detail forms and to those who have offered their services. A gentle reminder to submit yours by the end of May 2026, as we plan to send out first emails in June. We will be in contact with the new volunteers soon.”

Railway Club Ceilidh

“Date for your diaries – Saturday 24 October 2026. It has been a wee while since we had a social gathering. To coincide with the opening date of St Mary’s in October 1934, we plan to hold a Ceilidh at the Railway Club in Inverlochy on 24/10/2026. More details to follow, including ticket sales, however we will be happy to collect any raffle prizes you can spare.”

SVDP

We are looking for volunteers to start an SVDP in the parish.

Please speak to Deacon Thomas.

Fr. Paul Hackett S.J.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fr. Paul Hackett at the age of 96.

Fr. Paul served many parishes in Argyll and the Isles. May his good soul rest in peace.

Cleaning of the church

A huge thank you to all who cleaned the church on Friday for the first communions.

It was much appreciated.
