St. Columba’s School First Communions

The next meeting will be on Monday the 26th of May, at 3.30pm. The date for First Communions will be Sunday the 22nd of June in St. Mary’s at 11.15am.

Liturgy Works Conforti

We have the Good News that Liturgy Works is hoping to start up again I have taken the bold step of booking Conforti for weekend of the 19th and 21st of September. The price is £180 full board for the weekend, I do realise that this is more expensive, but it is five years since we met, and prices have gone up substantially, deposits of £50 should be deposited to the bank account, Mrs. D. Maclean, sort code 874362, account number, 72783760.

May Devotions

We will have May Devotions during the month of May our last one is being held on Wednesday the 28th at 6pm in St. Mary’s all welcome.

Xaverian Father Mission Appeal

Fr. Stephen McKend extends his thanks you the people of God for your generosity to the mission of the Xavierian’s. The total raised was £913.00. Thank you very much indeed.

Communications Sunday

Next Sunday there will be a second collection at all masses for the work of communications in the diocese. Please be as generous as you can.

Deacon Thomas

Many congratulations to Deacon Thomas who was 70 years young on Tuesday. We thank him for all he does for the parish and the community.

Chrissie Campbell

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chrissie. To her friends and family, we offer our love and our prayers at this sad time for them. Chrissie’s funeral service will be held on Thursday the 29th of May at 12noon in St. Mary’s, all are most welcome.

Teas and Coffees

Next Sunday we will have teas and coffees in the church house. All are welcome.
