St. Columba’s School First Communions

Our next meeting will be on Monday the 31st of March at 3.30pm in St. Columba’s school. There will be no meetings in the school for another three weeks. The date for First Communions will be Sunday the 22nd of June in St. Mary’s at 11.15am.

Bishop Brian

We welcome Bishop Brian and thank him for being with us this weekend in St. Mary’s, and for all that he does for the diocese and the church. There will be teas and coffees after mass on Sunday.

Cinema Trip

It is proposed that we will have a trip on Monday the 7th of April, to Highland Cinema to see, “Conclave”. Pleased put that date in your diaries. The price is a very reasonable £20 including lunch. We meet at 1.15pm for lunch and the film is at 2.30pm, all are welcome.

Lectio Divina

Many thanks to those who came out last Wednesday to our meeting. We will meet again this Wednesday the 2nd of April at 7pm in the church house. All are welcome.

Stations of the Cross

There will be Stations of the Cross this Thursday the 3rd of April at 6pm in St. Mary’s, all are welcome.

S.C.I.A.F.

Our second collection next week will be for this very worthy cause, there is also a letter at the back of the church, for those who wish to pick one up.

Chrism Mass

Our Chrism Mass will be held on Wednesday the 9th of April at 6.30pm in Oban Cathedral.

Those wishing to go please put your name down on the sheet at the back.

Family Fun night

St. Columba’s School is having a family fun night on Thursday the 3rd of April at 6.30opm. Please come along and support our school.

Ruth Macdonald R.I.P.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth, to her family we offer our love and prayers at this difficult time for them. The funeral will be held in St. John’s on Wednesday the 2nd at 11am all welcome.
