Diocesan Pastoral Council
Bishop Brian is looking for representatives for a diocesan pastoral council. It would be good if we could have at least one representative from St. Mary’s. If anyone is interested, please speak to me Fr. David.
Safe Space Listening
I have noticed in recent months, that there are more people seeking a safe space to talk about things in their life, that they are struggling with. I hope that if you know of anyone in the community who would like to share anything that they are finding difficult, would feel free to phone me on 01397702174. This as always would be a safe and confidential space. Fr. David.
Teas And Coffees
This weekend there will be teas and coffees in the chapel house. All are most welcome.
Chrism Mass
Please save the date for the Chrism Mass in March. The date is Wednesday the 25th of March at 12.30pm. Not that the time has changed from the evening till the afternoon.
Baptism
Many congratulations to Ruaridh Alistair James Disher, who was baptised yesterday in St. Mary’s. May the love of Christ remain always in his heart.
Readers
We are in desperate need of people to come forward to read. If you think you could manage, please come forward. Training will be provided.
R.I.P. Christopher Harvey
It is with great sadness we announce the death of Christopher, to his family and friends we offer our love and prayers at this difficult time for them.
Funerals
I will be away from the parish from Monday afternoon till Tuesday afternoon at Marion Wynne’s funeral. May her good soul rest in peace. I unfortunately must be away again from Wednesday afternoon till Friday as a good friend and neighbour Marie Claire Kerr at the age of 54 years. Please keep her family in your prayers.
