Fr. Charles New Book

Fr. Charles shas written a new called “What Remains”. I can thoroughly recommend this book.

It is priced at £10, and the books are for sale at the back of the church.

R.I.P. Ian Quinn and Andrzej Solinski

It is with great sadness that we announce the deaths of Ian and Andrzej. To their families we offer our love, prayers and support at this difficult time for them. Currently there are no dates for the funerals.

Dental Work

Over the next few months, I must get considerable dental work done, this will mean travelling to Edinburgh on six to eight occasions. Unfortunately, this will mean I am away from the parish for short periods of time. Please bear with me as I get this work done.

Missio Sunday

Next Sunday there will be a second collection for the work of Missio. Please be as generous as possible.

Call, Change and Growth: An Autumn Reflection Day.

Led by the Ignatian Spirituality Centre, Glasgow.

Donation for the day £15, includes Soup and Sandwiches, Tea and Coffee.

The theme is a gentle reflection on Change in growth, Harvest, New Life, Rest, Growth and Restoration.

We will also reflect on those who have gone to God who helped us on our journey.

Parish Ceilidh

Just a reminder that our parish Ceilidh will be held on Saturday the 24th of October at 7.30pm in the Railway Club, tickets can be purchased after mass. We need prizes for the raffle, please hand any donations into the parish house.

Parish Council Meeting

There will be a parish council meeting on Tuesday the 13th of October at 7pm. If there is anything you would like to discuss, please speak to myself or Deacon Thomas. Fr. David.
