There will be teas and coffees in St. Mary’s church house next Sunday, all welcome.

Dental Work

Over the next few months, I must get considerable dental work done, this will mean travelling to Edinburgh on six to eight occasions. Unfortunately, this will mean I am away from the parish for short periods of time. Please bear with me as I get this work done.

Ecclesiastical Students Fund

This Sunday there will be a second collection for the sick and retired priests of the diocese. Please be as generous as you possibly can.

Baptism

It is with great joy we welcome yesterday Lucas into the family of the church. To his family and friends, we offer our prayers and support.

Fr. Charles New Book

Fr. Charles shas written a new called “What Remains”. I can thoroughly recommend this book.

It is priced at £10, and the books are for sale at the back of the church.

Parish Ceilidh

Just a reminder that our parish Ceilidh will be held on Saturday the 24^th of October at 7.30pm in the Railway Club, tickets can be purchased after mass. We are in need of prizes for the raffle, please hand any donations into the parish house.

R.I.P. Joan Kennedy

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan, to her family and friends we offer our love and prayers. Joan’s funeral will be held in St. John’s on Friday the 2^nd of October at 12am.
