·         Monday: Requiem Mass for Dawn Bowman will be held in St. Mary’s at 10.15am

·         Tuesday: Requiem Mass for Jim Jordan will be held in St. Mary’s at 10.15am   

·         Wednesday: Mass will be in St. Mary’s at 10.15am        

·         Thursday: Mass will be in St. Mary’s at 10.15am     

·         Friday: Requiem Mass for Chrissie Standen will be held in St. Mary’s at 10.15am      

·         Saturday: Vigil in St. Mary’s 6pm

Vivaldi’s Gloria

A huge thankyou to all who made the effort to come to our concert last Sunday. I think you will all agree that it was a magnificent concert which lifted all our hearts. We thank the choir from Carfin, and Kevin for all their hard work in preparing such a wonderful event.

St. Margaret’s Lochgilphead Pilgrimage Day

On Saturday 31st of August, Bishop Brian will be blessing St. Margaret’s Parish Garden: Marian Grotto, Station of the Cross, and the fountain (Jesus the Water of Life). It is proposed that we will join Bishop Brian and Fr. Philip for the mass and the blessing and refreshments after we would leave from St. Mary’s at 08.00 am for mass at 10.30am and the blessing at 11am and hope to be back around mid-afternoon. Please give your name to Deacon Thomas of myself if you would like to go. Fr. David.

R.I.P. Dawn Bowman

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of young Dawn at the tender age of fourteen to her family and friends we offer our love, prayers and support at this extremely difficult time for them. Dawn’s Requiem Mass will be held tomorrow Monday the 26th of August at 10.15am in St. Mary’s, all are most welcome.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chrissie to her family and friends we offer our love, prayers and support at this difficult time, Chrissie’s Requiem Mass will be held on Friday the 30th of August at 10.15am in St. Mary’s, all are most welcome.

Sick and Retired priests second collection

There will be a second collection for the sick and retired priests of the diocese. This will take place this weekend at all Sunday masses. Thank you for your continued generosity.
