·         Tuesday: Mass in St. Mary’s, 10.15am

·         Wednesday: Mass in St. Mary’s, 10.15am

·         Thursday: Mass in St. Mary’s. 10.15am

·         Friday: Requiem Mass for Irene Cliffe 11am St. John’s Caol.

·         Saturday: Vigil in St. Mary’s 6pm

Peter’s Pence Collection

There will be a second collection next week for the work of Peter’s Pence. Peter’s Pence is the charity of the Pope, where he distributes the funds that are collected, to charitable

causes.

Day for Life

The collections between all the parishes of Lochaber for the Day for Life Collection was £570. Thank you very much indeed for your generosity.   

Irene Cliffe

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Cliff. To her family and friends, we offer our love and prayers at this sad time for them. Irene’s funeral mass will be in St. John’s Caol on Friday the 12th of July at 11am, all are most welcome.

Teas and Coffees in the Parish House

We will have teas and coffees this weekend in the parish house after 11.15am mass.

All are welcome.

Children’s Liturgy

Last Sunday was the last children’s liturgy before the summer holidays. I thank all those who have been involved in the liturgy for the children. The children’s liturgy will restart again when the schools go back.

St. John’s Caol work in garden

Many thanks indeed to those who turned out to help with the work in the garden at St. John’s. We intend to meet again next week to clear the back of the house on Wednesday the 10th of July at 6.30pm for no more than two hours. Many hands make light work.

Summer Break Fr. David

I will be away from the parishes from the 13th of July till the 30th of July inclusive, we are blessed to have Fr. Anil with us to let me away. Please give him a warm Lochaber welcome.

Date for your diary

The salvation Army is welcoming their new leaders, Majors Janice and Jason Snell. This will be held on Saturday the 27th of July from 2-4pm with a cream tea. It would be good if some of our congregation would come along and welcome them to the area.
