First Communions 2026
Huge congratulations to our eight children who made there first communion last week, and for all who made it such a lovely occasion.
Information Sheets for all parishioners
“Thank you to all who have submitted their contact detail forms and to those who have offered their services. A gentle reminder to submit yours by the end of May 2026, as we plan to send out first emails in June. We will be in contact with the new volunteers soon.”
Railway Club Ceilidh
“Date for your diaries – Saturday 24 October 2026. It has been a wee while since we had a social gathering. To coincide with the opening date of St Mary’s in October 1934, we plan to hold a Ceilidh at the Railway Club in Inverlochy on 24/10/2026. More details to follow, including ticket sales, however we will be happy to collect any raffle prizes you can spare.”
SVDP
We had a meeting on Wednesday with the President of the SVDP Scotland. Thankfully, she is willing to support a new group in Lochaber, but we desperately need volunteers. Please speak to Deacon Thomas or myself. Fr. David.
Day for Life Collection
Next Sunday there will be a second collection at all masses for the work of “Day for Life”.
Please be as generous as you can be to this worthy cause.
Finance Meeting
There will be Parish Finance meeting on Wednesday the 24th of June at 7pm in the church house. If you are on the PFC Committee, please put this date aside in your diary.
Fabric and Care for the Parish and Grounds
Over the last few years, it has been increasingly difficult to maintain the parish church and grounds. This has fallen on a very few members who are now finding it very hard to continue.
Deacon Thomas and myself are proposing that once a month for two hours a group will meet to keep on top of the maintenance. A date is yet to be agreed. Fr. David.
