Liturgy Works Conforti

We have the Good News that Liturgy Works is hoping to start up again I have taken the bold step of booking Conforti for weekend of the 19^th and 21^st of September. The price is £180 full board for the weekend, I do realise that this is more expensive, but it is five years since we met, and prices have gone up substantially, deposits of £50 should be deposited to the bank account, Mrs. D. Maclean, sort code 874362, account number, 72783760.

 

Card Machine

There is a new card machine installed at the back of the church in St. Mary’s, and requires simple a tap of your bank card, it is currently set at £5, if you wish to increase the amount that you give please press the arrow upward on the machine and it will change the amount, it increase in £5 increments. The reason behind doing this is because so many people no longer carry cash.

 

Garden Day St. Mary’s

It is proposed that after mass on Sunday the 15^th of June 12-2pm, we will have a tidy up of the church grounds in preparation for the First communions. It would be good if as many people as possible could help, especially the parents and children who will be making their first communion.

 

Michael Fitzsimmons R.I.P.

It is with great sadness as a community of faith we announce the sad death of Michael Fitzsimmons. To Patsy, Claire and Paul, we offer our love and prayers at this difficult time for them. Michael’s Requiem Mass will be held in St. Mary’s on Friday the 20^th of June at 10.15am. Please come along and support the family with your prayers.

 

St. Columba’s School end of term mass

Bishop Brian will celebrate the end of term mass on Friday the 20^th of June at 11.30am in St. Columba’s school, all are most welcome.
