St. Columba’s School First Communions
The next meeting will be on Monday the 2nd of June, at 3.30pm. The date for First Communions will be Sunday the 22nd of June in St. Mary’s at 11.15am.
Liturgy Works Conforti
We have the Good News that Liturgy Works is hoping to start up again I have taken the bold step of booking Conforti for weekend of the 19th and 21st of September. The price is £180 full board for the weekend, I do realise that this is more expensive, but it is five years since we met, and prices have gone up substantially, deposits of £50 should be deposited to the bank account, Mrs. D. Maclean, sort code 874362, account number, 72783760.
Communications Sunday
This Sunday there will be a second collection at all masses for the work of communications in the diocese. Please be as generous as you can.
Margaret Macdonald
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret. To her friends and family, we offer our love and our prayers at this sad time for them. Margaret’s funeral service will be held on Monday the 9th of June at 11am in St. Mary’s, all are most welcome.
Teas and Coffees
This Sunday we will have teas and coffees in the church house. All are welcome.
Mary Kerr Memorial Mass
There will be a mass to give thanks to God for the life of Mary Kerr. It will be held in St. Mary’s on Saturday the 14th of June at 12am. All are most welcome to attend.
Church Cleaning
Next Friday the 6th of June there will be church cleaning. Thanks to all who help.
Card Machine
There is a new card machine installed at the back of the church in St. Mary’s, and requires simple a tap of your bank card, it is currently set at £5, if you wish to increase the amount that you give please press the arrow upward on the machine and it will change the amount, it increase in £5 increments. The reason behind doing this is because so many people no longer carry cash.
