St. Columba’s School First Communions

The next meeting will be on Monday the 9th of June, at 3.30pm. The date for First Communions will be Sunday the 22nd of June in St. Mary’s at 11.15am.

Liturgy Works Conforti

We have the Good News that Liturgy Works is hoping to start up again I have taken the bold step of booking Conforti for weekend of the 19th and 21st of September. The price is £180 full board for the weekend, I do realise that this is more expensive, but it is five years since we met, and prices have gone up substantially, deposits of £50 should be deposited to the bank account, Mrs. D. Maclean, sort code 874362, account number, 72783760.

Communications Sunday

Thank you to all who gave so generously to the collection last week, the total was £413.70

Margaret Macdonald R.I.P.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret. To her friends and family, we offer our love and our prayers at this sad time for them. Margaret’s funeral mass will be held on Monday the 9th of June at 11am in St. Mary’s, all are most welcome.

Mary Kerr Memorial Mass

There will be a mass to give thanks to God for the life of Mary Kerr. It will be held in St. Mary’s on Saturday the 14th of June at 12am. All are most welcome to attend.

Card Machine

There is a new card machine installed at the back of the church in St. Mary’s, and requires simple a tap of your bank card, it is currently set at £5, if you wish to increase the amount that you give please press the arrow upward on the machine and it will change the amount, it increase in £5 increments. The reason behind doing this is because so many people no longer carry cash.

Ballachulish Village Hall Coffee Morning

There will be a coffee morning in Ballachulish Village Hall on Saturday the 14th of June between, 10.30-1.00, in aid of Glencoe Catholic Parishes. Please support this if you can.

Garden Day St. Mary’s

It is proposed that after mass on Sunday the 15th of June 12-2pm, we will have a tidy up of the church grounds in preparation for the First communions. It would be good if as many people as possible could help, especially the parents and children who will be making their first communion.
