Masses for next week

·         Monday: No mass

·         Tuesday: 10:15 am mass at St. Mary’s

·         Wednesday: 10:15 am There will be no mass or Eucharistic Service at St. Mary’s

·         Thursday: 10.15am mass at St. Mary’s

·         Friday: Mass at 10:15 am at St. Mary’s followed by the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after Mass

·         Saturday: The Vigil at St. Mary’s at 6pm

November Month of the Holy Souls

In the month of November, we always pray for the Holy Souls. Please hand in your November lists to the sacristy.

Liturgy at masses

We are so thankful for all of you who make the effort week in week out to support the church, but I have noticed in recent weeks there seems to be a drop in the level of participation in the mass, with regard to responses and singing. Each one of us is called by our baptism by the Second Vatican Council to “full and active participation in the Liturgy”.

The mass is not a performance where we sit back and watch. It is for each and every one of us to join in so that the high point of our week, the Sunday celebration is one filled with hope and joy. Please make an effort to give of all you can to make our church grow and flourish.

November Mass for the Holy Souls

Our yearly mass for the Holy Souls will be in St. Mary’s on Thursday the 23rd of November at 7pm. Please come along and pray for your loved ones.

 Readers for during the week in Fort William

We require some more readers to help out at morning masses during the week. Please speak to Deacon Thomas if you wish to help out.

Saturday the 11th of November Work Party

R.I.P. Colin Cameron

We sadly announce the death of Colin Cameron, to his family and friends we offer our love and prayers at this sad time for them. Colin’s funeral service will be on Thursday the 16th of November at 1pm, in St. John’s Caol. All are most welcome.

R.I.P. Donald McPhater

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald. To Eugenia and all Donald’s family we offer our love and prayers at this very sad time for them. His funeral mass will be on Tuesday the 21st of November at 10am in St. John’s Caol. All are most welcome.
