Masses for next week

·         Monday: No mass

·         Tuesday: 10:00 am mass at St. John’s Caol

·         Wednesday: 10.00am mass at St. Mary’s

·         Thursday: Mass is the Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul, and the masses will be at 10:00 am at St. John’s Caol. And 6pm in St. Mary’s Fort William.  

·         Friday: There will no mass in St. Mary’s on Friday. Friday’s mass will be at 11 am in St. John’s Caol and will be the Requiem Mass of Artom Jevstifejevs

·         Saturday: The Vigil at St. Mary’s at 6pm

 First Communions today the 25th of June

It is with great joy that we celebrate the first communion of our children today. We pray that the love and the grace that they received in the sacrament sustain and give them strength. Many congratulations to them all.

Pilgrimage to Scalan

The Annual Pilgrimage to Scalan takes place on Sunday 2nd July with Mass outdoors at The Scalan beginning promptly at 4.00pm. Scalan can be found a mile beyond Chapeltown of Glenlivet. An approximate postcode is AB37 9JS. Coaches need to stop half a mile beyond Chapeltown. Cars and minibuses can park very near and are usually willing to take anyone needing a lift.

Recent Death Artom (Arty) Jevstifejevs

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Artom. To his family and friends, we offer our love and prayers at this extremely sad tome for them. Artom’s funeral will be on Friday the 30th of June at 11am in St. John’s Caol.

Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul, Thursday the 29th of June

There will be mass on Thursday the 29th of June in St. John’s Caol at 10am, which the children from St. Columba’s will join us for as their end of term mass.

Mass for the Feast will also be in the evening in St. Mary’s at 6pm.

We wish all the teachers and children a very well-deserved break for the summer. May they come back rested and refreshed.
