Masses for next week

·         Monday: No mass

·         Tuesday: 10:00 am mass at St. John’s Caol

·         Wednesday: 10.00am mass at St. Mary’s

·         Thursday: Mass at 10:00 am at St. John’s Caol

·         Friday: Mass at 10.15am, followed by exposition of the blessed sacrament.

·         Saturday: The Vigil at St. Mary’s at 6pm

Date for First Communions next Sunday

We all very much look forward to our children making their First Communion’s next Sunday the 25th of June St. Mary’s First Holy Communion 11.15am. Please keep the children in your prayers at this important time.

Pilgrimage to Scalan

The Annual Pilgrimage to Scalan takes place on Sunday 2nd July with Mass outdoors at The Scalan beginning promptly at 4.00pm. Scalan can be found a mile beyond Chapeltown of Glenlivet. An approximate postcode is AB37 9JS. Coaches need to stop half a mile beyond Chapeltown. Cars and minibuses can park very near and are usually willing to take anyone needing a lift.

Rev. Alexander Guinness R.I.P.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of the Rev. Alexander Guinness. Alexander served the people of God faithfully for many years in Elgin, Lossiemouth, Glasgow, Dunoon, and latterly the people of Lochaber. We pray for his wife Elaine, and his extended family, friends, parishioners and all who knew Alexander. May he sleep in peace and rise in glory. Alexander’s funeral will be St. Andrew’s Fort William on Wednesday the 21st of June at 11am.

Recent Death

Alan Cairns funeral service will be on Thursday the 22nd of June at 12am in St. Mary’s Fort William, all are welcome.

Marriage of Michael and Michelle

We pray for Michael Tortolano, and Michelle Kerr, who will be married tomorrow in Glenfinnan, may God bless their married union, with health, love, and happiness.

School Mass St. Columba’s

There was to be mass on Thursday the 22nd of June in the school at 11am, unfortunately I will have to cancel as I have a funeral that day. The end of term mass will be held in St. John’s on Thursday the 29th of June at 10am, all are most welcome.
